Richard Marx hosted this epic event that brought 6 great artists together for one time only on stage. After performing solo or with one other artist, all 6 great performer got together to perform one of Richard Marx’s best hit songs, Right Here Waiting, for the grand finale.
“Music for Life,” A night out with friends featured an all-star benefit concert dedicated to the memory of Dick Marx on Nov. 7, 1998 at Vic Theatre. Featured performances by Marx, Michael Bolton, Luther Vandross, Kenny G., Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon and Fee Waybill of the Tubes. Proceeds from the concert went to fund scholarships at DePaul’s School of Music.
