If you have not been invited to the show’s calendar link, create your own calendar and add the broadcast link that was sent to you. Do not share the broadcast link. It is available only to guests.

The interview will be recorded privately. If you have a clip or a portion of the trailer that you want to share, please send it to me at bruce@bsvp.com. We can edit it into the interview before we post the episode.
The final interview will be posted to Indie Film Nation on https://www.youtube.com/bsvptv

Before the broadcast

Make sure you have the following:

  • laptop or desktop with a webcam with good lighting and audio quality.
Good audio is actually more important than good video.
  • A recent version of Chrome or Firefox.
  • A strong internet connection. Just like Skype, you must have a strong internet connection for it to work well. If possible, connect to your router with an ethernet cable instead of using WiFi.
  • We recommend wearing earbuds or headphones to prevent audio echoes.

If you don’t have a laptop or desktop, then you can join on your phone. But the experience is usually best on a laptop/desktop. On Android, we recommend the Chrome browser. On iOS, you must use Safari.

If you’re on iOS 14.2, we recommend updating your device before joining. iOS 14.2 has some issues with audio stuttering.

To reduce echo during the interview, an external USB mic or ear bud with an attached mic or bluetooth earpiece and mic.
