Bruce Himmelblau, owner and camera person of Blue Sky Video Productions in Lake Bluff and a Wilmette native, recently won an Aegis Award for a 60-minute educational video produced for the Elmhurst Historical Museum.
The Aegis Awards are a national competition recognizing professional excellence for video production. With Bruce Himmelblau as camera person, and Sue Lawson-Himme1blau as director and editor, this production is slated to be used in the classroom as a companion piece to the curriculum local history.
Designed for third through fifth-grade students, this program is in keeping with the school district's Best Current Practices. Blue Sky Video Productions has also been honored to receive the 2002 Communicator Award of Distinction as well as a finalist commendation for the 2002 DV Awards.
