New 'Protouch' Tripods

Sarasota, FL - Last
month at WEVA EXPO 2005, Vinten
displayed their new “Protouch” range of tripods developed to meet the unique
demands of professional wedding and event work.
Vinten’s Bob Low demonstrated the unique design and benefit of the company’s
new Pro-6 and Pro-10 models to producer Bruce Himmelblau for this WEVA NEWS

Vinten’s lightweight Pro-6DC system (13.2 lbs capacity), and Pro-10DC system
(22 lbs. capacity) each include a pan & tilt head, Pozi-Loc two-stage
aluminum tripod with adjustable leg locks, a floor spreader, and soft case.
The head is designed to provide smooth control and movement through 360º of pan
and +90º to -60º of tilt with continuously variable fluid drag. Both systems
feature an illuminated level bubble for convenient set up in low-light
situations.
