Shows New HDV Light

Sarasota, FL - At the WEVA
15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo Trade Show Armato’s
Pro Video displayed Ianiro’s new HDVCam light, an on-camera
lighting system developed for use with new HDV (and current MiniDV) camcorders.
This small and focusable (spot & flood) light can be powered by the new type
of camcorder battery which has a DC output socket. The lamp is only 10w but is
boosted and delivers a light output of 20w.
Dennis Hopkins of Armato’s displayed and described the unit's capabilities for

During the WEVA EXPO 2005 Opening Night Gala, the Wedding & Event
Videographers Association International honored Armato’s Pro Video as one of
the special 15-year exhibitors who have participated in every EXPO Trade
Show since the doors of the first EXPO opened back in 1991.
Hopkins reflected on the impact of Armato’s 15-year history with the EXPO, and
spotlighted the evolution of recording gear as displayed in the WEVA Wedding
& Event Videography Hall of Fame’s Tools & Technology exhibit
shown at this year’s landmark convention. CLICK
